Jamie B, Boggo and Josh's Live Rankings During Week 17 (Baton Rouge Challenger)

As week 17 begins, Jamie climbs 3 places to 239, despite defending 3 points. Alex climbs 3 to 256, and Josh climbs 4 to 266. biggrin.gif

Players dropping places are: Lorenzi, Goldstein, Klec and Guzman.

Stoppini and Prpic qualified for Cremona yesterday.

Alex will need to reach the quarter- finals to regain the British #2 spot. If he wins the tournament, he could climb as high as 199.

Players who can overtake Jamie on Monday:
Dorsch plays Sweeting in R1 in Baton Rouge
Niemayer plays Armando in R1 in Baton Rouge

Best case, he stays at 239. Worst case, he drops to 241.

Players who can overtake Boggo on Monday:
Ram plays Kunitsyn in R1 in Baton Rouge

Best case, he stays at 256. Worst case, he drops to 257.

Players who can overtake Josh on Monday:
no-one.

In Monday- Thursday's play, Jamie was overtaken by Dorsch, Prpic and Kuznetsov. He drops to 242 cry.gif

Alex lost in R1, and has not been overtaken. He in fact started the week rising to 255, not 256, as Fischer dropped behind him.

Josh has been overtaken by Fischer, despite reaching the Mexico quarters.

Other players advancing have been: Malisse, Okun, Stoppini and Ilhan.
Rehnquist, Dorsch, Gard, Prpic, Vacek, Malisse, Okun, Sergeev, Ram, Quintero, Stoppini and Feeney have lost.

Players who can overtake Jamie on Thursday:
no-one
he wil stay at 242.

Players who can overtake Boggo on Thursday:
Fischer plays Delic in the QFs in Baton Rouge

Best case, he stays at 255. Worst case, he drops to 256.

What- if for Josh on Friday:
Josh has 137 points and is sitting at 265.
If Josh beats Monroe tomorrow, he'll have 140 points
He will overtake Brizzi, Lopez-Jaen, Quintero and Marrrero.
He could be overtaken by no- one

He will advance to 262.

If Josh loses:
He could be overtaken by Ilhan,  if he beats Ciric in Turkey.
Best case, he stays at 265. Worst case, he drops to 266.

Still no Josh result, so I'll post anyway.

In Friday and Saturday's play, Ilhan reached the Turkey Futures final and then lost, overtaking Josh on the way. Fischer couldn't overtake Alex, losing in Baton Rouge. Vagnozzi reached the Italy Futures final, and is poised behind Josh hmm.gif


Players who can overtake Jamie:
no-one.
he will stay at 242.

Players who can overtake Boggo:
Goodall, if he reaches the final in Mexico.
Best case, he stays at 255. Worst case, he drops to 256.

What- if for Josh:
Josh has 137 points and is sitting at 266.

If Josh wins the Mexixo Futures, he'll have 152 points.
He will overtake Brizzi, Lopez-Jaen, Ilhan, Quintero, Marrrero, Mirnyi, Ungur, Ram, Fischer, Sergeev, Bogdanovic, Lammer, Mertl, Okun, Jenkins, Crivoi, Gensse and Amritraj
He could be overtaken by no-one.
He will advance to 248.

If Josh loses in the final, he'll have 146 points.
He will overtake Brizzi, Lopez-Jaen, Ilhan, Quintero, Marrrero, Mirnyi, Ungur, Ram, Fischer, Sergeev, Bogdanovic and Lammer
He could be overtaken by no-one.
He will advance to 254, and into the British number 3 spot.

If Josh beats Monroe, then loses in the semis, he'll have 140 points
He will overtake Brizzi, Lopez-Jaen, Ilhan, Quintero and Marrrero.
He could be overtaken by Vagnozzi

Best case, he advances to 261, worst case to 262.

If Josh loses to Monroe:
He could be overtaken by Vagnozzi,  if he beats Veic in the Italy final.
Best case, he stays at 266. Worst case, he drops to 267.

Josh lost. So did Vagnozzi.

So Josh stays at 266 - up 4 on the week. Alex at 255, also up 4, and Jamie at 242, unchanged.

(all, of course assuming that Futures points are added immediately, rather than in one week's time)
