Interesting footnote, i.e. the closing paragraph, to the Times article to which murrayfan99 posted a link on the Murray/Volandri thread yesterday:
[Conversely], Brad Gilbert, the coach [Murray] dismissed, is fruitlessly attempting to steer Alex Bogdanovic's career into calmer waters. Bogdanovic has slid to No 3 in the domestic rankings and could fall behind Josh Goodall to No 4, if his results do not improve soon. Neither Gilbert nor the LTA, which is still paying his significant wages, had bargained for that.
Really hope Boggo can get back on track soon - the thing that surprises me most is that I thought Brad was noted for instilling mental toughness and winning ugly. If anything Boggo has become (even) worse recently at throwing away good positions and losing.
I'm sure he's still got the ability to make the Top100 and hopefully this is just a temporary blip
