In the meantime, there are some pics of yesterday's match at http://newoutlooktennis.com/photos.htm

Thanks for pointing that out Steven..

Notice that Phillip Simmonds [upper most photographs - he's the black guy] uses two different racquets [I think Prince Tour & Wilson K Factor Tour]. I'm guessing that he must have been using the match to test the two racquets.. seems like something that could be done in training though tbh.

Perhaps one for serving, a slightly less-tightly strung one for returning one for receiving, James?

Sadly, Wardie has lost in straights. Not a bad week, though.

Not a particularly good week for him though, given that he was seeded 4 here.

QF: (4) James Ward WR 483 lost to (Q) Marcus Fugate (USA) WR 835 by 7-6(3) 6-3 bleh

I guess Josh's shock win in Mexico City was worth more points than the other three winning would have gained altogether, but still a week of what might have been, when you think that we have one-semi-finalist yet we had four players seeded to reach the semis.

That's what a number of us noticed at Queens.

If he could be coached/ if he could learn to move forward more I think he could kill a lot of points earlier and become even more effective.
