RE: Week 16 - ATP (€370,000) - Estoril, Portugal

CTB makes doubles too random for my liking. I reckon there would be far more straight set wins if it was just 3 sets.

And wouldn't you just know it?  The match which will decide whom Jamie & Kev play in the QFs (Boris Pashanski & Olivier Rochus or Ivo Minar & Jiri Vanek) was rained off earlier at 3-1 to M&V! hmm

Match to be played to a finish in the final encounter on Court 1 tomorrow!

Snippet of news:  the fourth seeds, Marcelo Melo & Sebastián Prieto (BRA/ARG), are out, beaten 6-4 3-6 [13-11] by Yves Allegro & Nicolas Mahut )SUI/FRA) a short while ago!

Minar & Vanek have just thrashed Pashanski & Rochus 1 & 2, so it is they who stand between Jamie & Kev & a place in the SFs opposite the third seeds, Cermak & Kerr (CZE/AUS) , a match which I presume will be played tomorrow.pray.gif

Did someone forget to tell Jamie that he's playing on clay? He's supposed to hate the stuff! I'm not complaining though, great result. smile.gif

Third & final match on Court 2 today, with the usual 11.00 KO in the first, a women's singles match, which is followed by a women's doubles.  Keep up the good work, boys.  Don't let us down now...

Seems to be a lot of rain in Estoril today, hence the delay...
