Superb result for Katie - I would rate it as one of the best wins by a British woman on clay for a long time, given Katie's form (or lack of it), no previous wins against Challenger players on this surface and her opponent's pedigree on clay.

Cool. This is the level below Tier IV (though a weak field considering)-so wins are good value (and 10 ranking points each so far). Am happy to see them both go through, not because they aren't better than their opponents, but 'cos of the damn red stuff....
