Question:  do the Yanks pronounce the name of the venue as we Brits do (as in "mobile 'phone"), or do they say "Moble"? confuse.gif

They pronounce it half English-half French - Mow-beel!

Are you sure? The ITF has him down to face 13th seed Dave Lingman, with Gates the man above him in the draw.

If this is right.... then it's a worse draw then before, but good luck to the guy as he's a nice fellow

I didn't see him play at Exmouth but he was in the players lounge on the Friday for a while, talking with the few of us that were in there (Tassart, the Crazy Pole, the Stringer, me, Rob Knight and Jack Findel-Hawkins (who's a hell of a player for a 13/14 year old - was too young to play ITF events though or else he'd have been in qualifying, and I'd have expected him to have won a few games at least))

He's originally an Aussie but moved to the UK a few years ago - would hope he'd win this match but wouldn't have him as the favourite

Thanks again Dan.

So he would rather play for GB....good for him.

So he is 20 this month and was born in Melbourne...now residing in Basingstoke.

He had a WR high of 1071 in 2006.

They will be completing the QD on Monday so more than likely the MD will be out sometime tomorrow.
