I confess, when I replied to Derek, that I assumed the walkover was that for today. Not having checked the OoP ( ), I didn't realise that they actually had a match to play today! That said, they now have to await the outcome of the other SF & whoever wins it, David & Fornell must be in with a chance, since Burrieza López & Nesterov are ranked below them (for all that matters! ), while Diez & Valenzuela are unranked...

Well done, David & Marc (as I've since discovered is Mestres' first name! ). Tennis Team GB may not be doing too well in the preferred singles discipline at the moment, but a title's a title & we really shouldn't be turning up our noses at one gained in the doubles!
