Blimey!  Is that some sort or record?  How to succeed in doubles without really trying...! disbelief.gif

Well it worked for them. clap.gif They are into the final after seeing off the Spanish pair, who knocked out the top seeds in round 1, winning 6-1 6-4. teamwork.gif Final, late tomorrow.

I confess, when I replied to Derek, that I assumed the walkover was that for today.  Not having checked the OoP ( redface.gif ), I didn't realise that they actually had a match to play today! ashamed  That said, they now have to await the outcome of the other SF & whoever wins it, David & Fornell must be in with a chance, since Burrieza López & Nesterov are ranked below them (for all that matters! hmm ), while Diez & Valenzuela are unranked... pray.gif

Well done, David & Marc (as I've since discovered is Mestres' first name! wink ). thumbsup.gif  Tennis Team GB may not be doing too well in the preferred singles discipline at the moment, but a title's a title & we really shouldn't be turning up our noses at one gained in the doubles! worship.gif
