Marcus and Neil won their round 3 matches.. Marcus' score was 6-4 6-2 but I am unsure of Neil's.

Nice one Lilly - I assume Marcus is just contacting you after the match and you're not out there with him?

It's funny that Marcus is top seed given that he's never been beyond R16 in a G1 - until now! With a bit of luck he'll get to the final here but I doubt he'll want to meet Xander Spong again...he's on a 0-4 record against him.

No not out there this time.. have to stay at work!

Yep fingers crossed he makes it to the final. I think he's been unlucky not to have made it further than R16 before - recently they have been very close when he's knocked out.
Will try and keep updates with anything I hear from him - the online draws aren't updates that much it seems.

It was a shame he had to play Spong indoors in the final of Florence -Spong likes the fast surface and Marcus would have had a much better shot on clay.Hopefully this week he'll have his way!
