You can just imagine this scenario. A player loses in the final qualifying round, but gets offered a chance to play as a lucky loser on the morning the event starts, but it is against the top seed. The player turns down the offer, saying "no thanks I don't want my ranking to decrease".
No. I can't possibly imagine that scenario. In fact a big LOL to anyone even thinking that that scenario might come about EVER.

Yikes. I am blowed if I am going to try to sort that out on my spreadsheet - if any players have equal points I can only have them wrong by a place or two. It's not worth the hassle!
