It was 4-6 in the 1st set, but that's a really good win for Josh! smile.gif

FINAL: (4) Josh Goodall WR 347 v (3) Conor Niland (IRL) WR 314

Niland has a pretty good record against Brits except Jamie Baker, who leads him 4-0! He leads Bloomers 2-1 and usually wins against any Brits lower-ranked than that. Josh lost their last match 5-7 6-4 6-4 in Nottingham last September but thrashed him 3 & 0 in Jersey just over a year ago!

I'm off for the weekend, see you all on Monday, hopefully wit ha Josh victory to celebrate! smile.gif

I thought Conor would make it closer then 6-4, 7-6. kind of a little dissapointed in that respect, but well done to Josh.

I can't believe that Ken & Ralph lost the doubles and so easily, 2-6 2-6 disbelief.gif. Were they playing with their feet tied together?

A good win for Josh. I, too, hope things are looking up for him! shh.gif

Congrats to Josh on winning another title and hopefully that will give him some confidence wherever he plays next - as long as he keeps winning these 10Ks it makes sense for him to be playing them.

Pretty decent week for Skupski as well with a QF and a RU, although the courts would definately suit his game and so it's a result you would have hoped for from him.

And got this message from Fitzy as well explaining why he wasn't in the Qualies draw (got it a few days ago but the internet has been down for a few days at Uni so only just been able to read it)

FD(as they all call you)lol

Absolute knightmare trying to play exmouth futures, took me 6hours to get to bisham from my house, which normally takes 1hr 20. I had to drive from bisham, to exmouth (3hours) by this time is it was 5.30, i would have had to get some lunch/dinner, phone the ref to sign in, get there at like 10.30 find somehwere to stay, or sleep in my car. Wouldnt have boaded very well for preperation for my match, bt seing the draw, i might not have played on saturday!!!!
not only that, but my mum drove me to bisham, because i had to pick up me car, and because it took 6hours because of traffic she missed her mums wedding!!

gutting, i missed out big time. I would have for sure taken you up on that, grrr kills me! as i have zero funds and the qualis turned out to be weaker, i wish i got emials when people send me personal messages:(:(, let the guys know on the forum why i didnt go. really appreciate the offer and hopefully i can accutally take u up on it, but not sure wether there are many tournaments down that way.

Well Done Josh.

Hes too good to be playing future events. The sooner he gets back to challengers and ATP events the better.
