The winners of the last two GB Futures face each other in the semis here! Olejniczak is on an 8-match winning streak after winning Jersey last week, though he was taken to two very tight t/bs today by Gojowczyk today, 11-9 and 9-7. He has an 8-1 record against Brits, including Slabba (twice), Eaton, Bammy & Rushby, his only loss to a Brit coming against Bloomers 4 & 1 in October 2006.
Edit: LOL I was wondering if someone would beat me to it if I did the 'research' for the previous paragraph before posting. 20 seconds ... so close! Stiil, it wouldn't be the same if the results from a round of this Future didn't get posted by at least three different people, dedicated (if slightly sad) bunch that we are!

GB on a shirt, Davis Cup still gleaming, 79 years of hurt, never stopped us dreaming ... 29/11/2015 that dream came true!
Now for the doubles: the SF in the top half of the draw will be contested by Heliovaara/Kontinen & the fourth seeds, Denys Molchanov & Juho Paukku (RUS/FIN), who actually played - & won - a QF today (beating Cerovic & Kovacka 3-6 7-6(5) [10-5], for the record)! The SF in the other half should have been an encounter between Skups & Grambow, after they beat Ignatik & Kosler 3 & 2, & O'Brien & Starakiewicz. However, O'Brien & partner retired after hardly a ball had been struck (1-1), so G & S are in the final with a minimum of effort, having played just 19 games!!! They should at least be fresh for it!
* This retirement business is catching - something in the Exmouth air?
I can't believe how many retirements and walkovers there have been this week. One ret. in the singles ( so far ) and one ret. and two w.o. in the already flimsily contested doubles. Is this a record?
A good effort from Skups and after a tight first set a win for Josh.
Nice to see Josh getting a bit of consistency back at futures level (or thats how it seems to be, contentious statement I'm sure ), a tough match up next, but hopefully he can come throgh that one as well.
Skups took it close, it just fell the wrong way this time. However given he *should* have gone out in the first round, not going to complain.
