A bit more detail:

She lost the 1st 6-1

Went a break down in the 2nd 0-2, won 5 games in a row 5-2 and won the 2nd set 6-3

Lost her first service game for the 3rd set in a row, this time after being 40-15 up and that was effectively it - she had bps in two games but couldn't take them and lost the final set 6-3.

A pity, because this was about as good a Q draw as you could hope for in an event as big as this. cry

Real shame that to miss out on those extra ranking points. It is these matches that make you question whether players like Anne and Katie can ever make that last little step to the top 100. Would they be able to stay there if they did? So close but yet still so far.
