Some very impressive results from our girls. Jocelyn's win is hugely impressive given Ani's past record and she is a very good player. Granted, she's not having the best of years (0 for 6...) but she's been as high as 63 in the world and won 4 25Ks last year so is no slouch.

Hugely impressed by Amanda's fightback, and the win itself of course, against Pavlovic :D

Also, Katherina's win over Lykina is very good :D

Little disappointed with Jade C's result but it's her first match of the year so probably rusty (I would hope)

i was looking at gbtennisgirls.com and jocelyn rae's dad is on there as tennis man! he said that rae won the first set in her first match which is different to what the itf reported.?? if thats correct she did deserve the match i thought it was just i nice bit of fortune.
amanda and katie have the same coach so i am sure they are liking him being there at same place this week as one week hes with amanda and other obrien. im sure they both play better with him there

Cool. At last a UK woman beats Stanicute. And relatively easily.

I don't think this itself will produce much of a short term ranking effect for bally (a few places) but will definitely help in that long term effort....
