Who will end the year at Brit No2

after following last nights, ultimately dissapointing, matches wanted to do a quick poll of who we think will be the Brit No2 at the end of the year.

i think there is a strong possibility that Jamie will overtake Alex around easter time as Alex has a lot of points to come off but then after Wimby Alex has almost a free run to make them back up, although Jamie hardly has any either.

Will they spur each other on like tim & greg? i know individual world ranking is more important to these guys than brit rankings but i am sure there must be a little bit of desire there too.

ah just spotted jamie has his biggest one off points total to come of end of jul, 26points. will want to recoup that quickly.

no you cant! smile.gif

i think jamie will be no2 at the end of arpil anyway, as unless Al gets some lucky draws/plays some blinders he will almost certianly be outside the top 200. (i wonder if he will play a few futures or contune to battle on the challenger tour if the drops that low)

It'll be Andy. I predict Robert Dee will overtake him over the Summer.

Boggo won't even be number 3

so who do you think will overtake Yorkie? or do you think alex will drop down the rankings significantly?

at the mo Alex is leading the poll, but interestingly i think that if i put a poll up here saying who should be DC no2 JB would be ahead.

Yeh Boggo has points to defend during April and Baker still has a few points to go on plus is on better form anyway, i'd agree Baker will be number 2 by end of April.

As for Boggo in general his form has ALWAYS been hit and miss, he creamed Ginepri in straight sets at the beginning of the year and has been nowhere since! certainly has the potential but he's another (Goodall, Bloomfield) that won't fulfil it

i think there are signs of Alex getting it back on track tho, it was a good run in cherbourg, beating Beck and Kim, and a decent performance yesterday. the Stalder match was a nightmare you are right and i think the repercussion of that match took a while to shake.

i spoke with someone very close to alex after the match and they said they had never known him to be that upset after he lost a match.
