As it was week one of Indian Wells last year, no- one is defending points and so no - one drops behind Alex.

Boggo begins the week with 237 points at 177.

Economidis (in Las Vegas) and  Recouderc (in Dubai) lost in ATP qualifying.
Hernych and Jan Minar qualified for Dubai  hmm.gif Anderson and Niemayer are still in Las Vegas qualifying.


Players who can overtake this weekend:
Niemayer, if he qualifies for Las Vegas. He plays Kunitsyn in QR2 tonight.

Players who can overtake on Monday:
Minar,  if he beats Andreev in Dubai R1
Hernych,  if he beats Wawrinka in Dubai R1

Niemeyer lost smile.gif so Alex is safe from those in qualifying. All eyes onto Dubai for Hernych and Minar.

Soeda advances to one point behind the Bogster.

Soeda, if he beats Jamie threat Slanar in Kyoyo

Best case, Alex stays at 179. Worst case, he drops to 180.

The only good news is that no-one apart from Soeda is left who can overtake this week.

Boggo is safe at 180 for this week.
