How annoying is it that the score on the other outside court is changing point by point while Katie's is stuck!

This is agonising - where's the live scoreboard when you need it? Stuck at 30-30 ....

Both frustrated I see.  Injury time out?

It's now off the live scores, so I assume Katie lost 7-5 in the 3rd. The Brits have certainly perfected the art of losing from being a break up in the final set here.

What a waste. Bet she would rather have played in the qualifications and gained a few points.

Your assumptions are confirmed on another live score site. Lost it 7-5 in the 3rd.

Apparently she had 3 match points on Savchuk's serve at 5-4* and 5 game points at 5-5. Savchuk is only ranked just above Katie, so this was the most golden of golden opportunities - sadly, she isn't going to survive in the top 100 (if she ever gets there) if she bottles matches like this.

Woohoo, the perfect triple British choke here in Bangalore.

Opportunities lost all round this week. First Mel (and surprise, surprise, Mel's opponent Szatmari won her first round match!) and now Katie...

Disappointing. Should have been better.
