Jamie's never been in top 200, Count; career high of 211.

That's one of life's great imponderables, CBV!

If Jamie were to win yet again next week, his total of points would put him in 211th place in the present list, which would equal his best-ever; however, whether he actually goes to 211 depends on the results of those around him, last week, this week and next!

To complicate things even further, the points from next week wouldn't appear on the lists till Monday 17th, which, I think, is in the middle of the two-week Masters Series event, and those folk more knowledgable than I (which means almost everyone) suggest that no updated list will be issued then!!

If I remember correctly, Jamie was caught by this particular cleft stick after he qualified for the Australian Open. Those points were enough to take him to a new high, but they would have shown up in the middle of the competition, when new lists are not issued, and by the time new lists did come out, he'd lost some points from last year, so drifted down again and never officially had his new high.

Aren't you sorry you asked!! I'm certainly sorry I've tried to answer; apologies for putting everyone to sleep.
