Great win for Boggo there.... I'd say it's definately his best win of the season so far (better than the Ginepri win as he was injured) so I hope this all down to the impact that Gilbert is having on him and can spur him on to getting back to the ATP events where he belongs.
With Lacko, Pless and Kim in his half of the draw, Boggo has a great chance of a final here as there's no-one there who he can't beat (and the top half isn't that strong either), but I'd guess he'll have to be aggressive against Kim who won't make too many mistakes
Sounds like you've found a home like home then in London
It's in Leyton. I don't know, it looks like a peaceful village here, but still yesterday some moron broke our window glass in the bathroom, and before I arrived somebody broke the glass in the car of one of the guys and stole the radio.
There's a Polish club nearby and the police is there each night.
I take it you're not talking about POSK? If so, that's changed a lot! LOL
More to the point grrr that thanks to a meeting I missed following that match, but what a brilliant result. (are you watching, Tigger!!)
I wonder if this is the first real bit of joint success from the Brad/Boggo partnership or if Boggo just has Beck's number anyway. I think there's a chance it's the former, since when he beat Beck last year, it was when Beck had just got back and started winning virtually every match.
Hopefully it's done wonders for the Boggster's confidence anyway.

Woohoo, thats a nice result, how open is the draw for Ogani now? This thread makes me reminiscent of my first night of heavy drinking, that ended with a stomach pumping!
I've never quite gone that far with drinking yet I have to say.
Although some of the people I was drinking with last night were still totally hammered at breakfast this morning and have a full day of lectures ahead of them so that will be interesting for them.
I've only had about 2 hours sleep (and was up until 5am last night.... clubbing and then just not going to bed)....
i used to live in leyton, about 6/7 years ago. hated it! there was nothing there, not even a cash point, nor a proper supermarket (although i think there is one now) this was when i was a uni so i stayed in central london almost every night drinking! porb why i didnt do so well at college.

I agree with FD that that's the result of the year so for Boggo, given how well Beck's been playing recently - it's the first time he's strung two really good back to back wins together this year too.
Like Jamie B, he plays a Kim next - in Boggo's case, it's Kevin Kim (USA) WR 154, who beat him 6-7(4) 6-1 6-4 6-2 at Wimby in 2005.
Kim's last three results against Brits were a 3 & 5 win against Bloomers in Valencia last April, a 1 & 3 loss to Andy Murray in San Jose last February and a 6 & 0 win against Jamie Baker in Naples (USA) in Nov 2006.
With Boggo on this form and Brad there to plot a way to win, it should be a close one!

I think Kim's actually THE most common name on ITF (the list goes on and on and on!), but I can't find a record of Boggo having played any Kim at any level since that Wimby loss in 2005.
