The courts are too new and they are chopping off the balls. The courts should be used regularly for the balls to have a good feel of it

ouch?

Balls getting cut off, matches getting "prosecuted", Belgian referees threatening to stop the tournament ... and as for poor Miss Lizzy Iyamu ...

"Miss Lizzy Iyamu is in charge of balls and she has been on her toes since the tournament started. (I'll bet!)

Their pressure is too much. I hardly rest since the tournament started. Every minute, they come asking for practice balls, practice balls. They are a problem, she said.

Not only do they have a website, but the writer has a sense of humour too. C'mon LTA, we want Futures websites like this! smile.gif

If Rob Dee merits an appreciation group, I think Benin City's website does, too!

FQR: (q3) Andrew Fitzpatrick WR 1494 v Ash Misquith (CAN) UNR

Hopefully this won't be too much of a problem for Fitzy, but it may not be as straightforward as last week's qualification, because Ash qualified and then took a set off Jeremy Blandin WR 776 last week - quite an improvement on a 1 & 1 loss to same player back in November!
