Jamie should have got to the Final, of course, being no. 2 seed, but what's been really impressive this week is how he's not only beaten these players he should beat, but beaten them so convincingly, winning every set to 3 or less. He'll have one of the other two top three seeds in the Final, so that'll be a good short-term test of what kind of effect his DC experience has had on his confidence.

Anderson is WR 179, a career high, and beat Boggo 4 & 4 in New Caledonia last month. He amanged to win the New Orleans Challenger as a qualifier last September, beating Sam Warburg by the astonishing margin iof 4 & 0 in the Final and losing just one set in 7 matches, a couple of months after reaching the Final of the Winnetka Challenger after qualifying for that too, winning 14 sets in a row before losing to Noam Okun in the Final.
So, as Arka says, a good thing he had such a marathon match today!
