RE: british tour

Another decent field. Georgie looked good in the final, a little rusty though and Amanda played very well to take it to three and just fell short.

i think coles clarke warburton have done lots of brit tours to get match practice mainly. they seem to struggle a little in the futures and this will definately help. especially as clarke and warburton have won one and i imagine coles will soon. hope sarah gets back. i liked her game

Hmm. I wouldn't like to have to call the result if Sarah Coles was drawn against Sarah Coles. ;)

Just noticed this run to the Final in last week's British Tour event in Sutton:

L32: (Q) R Mullins (4.1) beat E Crowe (3.2) by w/o
L16: (Q) R Mullins (4.1) beat (3) N Mooney WR 1067 by 2-6 6-2 6-3
QF: (Q) R Mullins (4.1) beat A Bann (2.1) by w/o
SF: (Q) R Mullins (4.1) beat (7) Jess Ren by w/o
FI: (1) J Curtis WR 501 beat (Q) R Mullins (4.1) by 3 & 0

(!)

I'm not saying Ms Mullins didn't deserve to get to the Final, since she beat the no. 3 seed in the one match she played to get there, but what on earth happened to all those other opponents?!
