Jamie said this morning he would try and call me tonight if he won and give me a rundown of his match. Lets pray that call comes tonight.

yeah, last year we had a nice group of guys from across the pond at our challenger and i became friends with every single one of them. jamie baker, jamie murray, ross hutchins, joshua goodall were the main guys i became close with. when baker plays tournies in the states i talk to him via phone and the other guys on email at least once a week. good players and even better people.

jamie is a stud. playing in 90 degree heat, he pulls out the match in the third. i didn't want to bother the lady with the score, but she did tell me on match point jamie hit a winner and cramped up. jamie had a very hard time walking to the net because of the cramps. i'll send him a text congratulating him and see if he responds. probably will spend the next few hours trying to rehydrate.

Any idea of score between Todero and Francis to see how Jamie plays next? Francis WR 316, Todero WR 325 so a pretty tough match either way especially if Jamie's struggling with cramp

What a hero smile.gif I guess the heat and winning 8 matches in a row (DC + 5 last week + 2 this week) is beginning to take its toll though.
