11 pm in the Algarve and they're playing QR3 without lights in a desperate attempt to avoid having to fit two rounds of qualifying into Tuesday. Get your serve over the net and you win the point, because there's no chance your opponent will see the ball!
This is what I'm imagining happening right now anyway!

No results yet, but Tuesday's OoP is up on the Faro Tennis Club site. I'll expand on this in a minute when I've had a look at rankings etc but, with QR3 still not finished:
QR3: Bamford v Vandenbrucke or Gigounon QR3: Campbell v Machado (not on Tuesday OoP so must be playing now)
FQR: Bamford v Vandenbrucke or Gigounon v Pallin or Klymenko FQR: Campbell or Machado v Barragao or Inzerillo
L32: Eaton v Hemmes (NED) L32: Kasiri v Bubka (UKR)
Perez-Perez is in the FQR unfortunately, so must have beaten Morgan in QR2.
Can't see any other Brits on the OoP except that Morgan is playing doubles with Komlavi Loglo and Goodall & Bammy have teamed up again.

OK, main draw out now, Q results hopefully about to appear - I'll add in rankings and post the singles draw in detail. (that's just to save anyone else typing it out at the same time!)
Headlines
Kasiri, Eaton and Ward all in the quarter of death - DOH!!
Goodall is no. 2 seed, with a brilliant draw (WR 509, 591, 1494 + 4 Q/LLs in his quarter)

There are still no qualifying results, so all of the QR2 results have been deduced from the OoP. I didn't expect Morgan to win, but I did expect Hewitt & Illingworth to get past QR2 at least!
QR2: Morgan Phillips WR 1403 lost to (q2) Luis Antonio Perez-Perez (ESP) WR 718 by 5 & 4 QR2: (q13) Tim Hewitt WR 1010 lost to Juan Beaus-Barquin (ESP) UNR by 4 & 4 QR2: Luke Campbell UNR beat Guillaume Crasson (BEL) UNR by 6-0 4-6 6-3 QR2: (q6) Neil Bamford WR 820 beat Jorge Hernando-Ruano (ESP) WR 1492 by 1 & 4 QR2: (q14) Matthew Illingworth WR 1063 lost to Pedro Sousa (POR) WR 1492 by 3 & 3
QR3: Luke Campbell UNR lost to (q3) Rui Machado (POR) WR 611 by 1 & 0 QR3: (q6) Neil Bamford WR 820 v Yannick Vandenbulcke (BEL) UNR or Germaine Gigounon (BEL) UNR - 1st on Tuesday (09.30 GMT)
FQR: (q6) Neil Bamford WR 820 or Vandenbulcke/Gigounon v Oskar Pallin (SWE) WR 1360 or (q9) Vladyslav Klymenko (UKR) WR 879 - 3rd on Tuesday
Main draw
L32: James Ward WR 527 v Qualifier/LL - Wednesday (winner to play (3) Martin Pedersen (DEN) WR 376 v Q/LL) L32: Chris Eaton WR 645 v Fred Hemmes (NED) WR 598 - 4th on Tuesday (winner to play winner of the next match) L32: (8) Miles Kasiri WR 512 v Sergei Bubka (UKR) WR 622 - 3rd on Tuesday n/b 12.00 GMT L32: (2) Josh Goodall WR 353 v Qualifier/LL - Wednesday (winner to play winner of Q/LL v (WC) WR 1494)
N.B. Winner of the match between the winners of matches 2 and 3 above to play the winner of the [match 1 v Pedersen or Q] match in the 2nd QF. Top seed is Komlavi Loglo.
'Scouting' notes
Hemmes - WR 188 in 2004, a year when he beat Jonny Marray in USO qualifying. 3-0 v Brits in the last 12 months, most recent was a 3-set win v Skupski last month. Hasn't played since mid-Jan.
Bubka - was ranked as high as 313 as recently as last May, beat Jamie Baker in a dead rubber in DC in 2006, generally loses to GB Challenger-level players and beats the rest. His ranking drop looks to be due to a long bad run of form, particularly last summer - it looks like he scored lots of points in Futures but didn't react well to the step up to Challenger level last year.
Edit: QR2 scores now filled in

Scores now on ITF, so I have updated the post above. To make things worse, Hewitt & Illingworth lost to their lower-ranked opponents in straights. In fairness to Hewitt, this was his first Futures match since November, so maybe he's been injured since then.
Unfortunately, my prediction that Luke Campbell would need a miracle to beat Machado in the match that was still being played when the OoP was released was accurate - he got thrashed 0 & 1. Still, at least he got to QR3 in the first place.
Finally, it's encouraging that in his first week playing a Future for nearly a year, Morgan not only won his first match but was competitive in both sets against Perez-Perez and hopefully that's a positive sign for the weeks to come.

James Ward is scheduled to play what appears to be an unranked Russian qualifier, Alexander Vasin, at 10.00 today & Goody a Portuguese qualifier, Rui Machado (726) in the second match on Court 2. In the doubles, Eaton & Lucassen (1609) take on Melskens & Pedersen (both DEN/1204) & Ward & Romanowski (WC/UNR) the third seeds, Clar Rosello & Luncanu (ESP/ROU, 906), no earlier than 13.00!
QR3: Luke Campbell UNR lost to (q3) Rui Machado (POR) WR 611 by 1 & 0 (played Monday) QR3: (q6) Neil Bamford WR 820 beat Yannick Vandenbulcke (BEL) UNR by 6-0 6-7(7) 6-3 (played Tuesday)
FQR: (q6) Neil Bamford WR 820 lost to (q9) Vladyslav Klymenko (UKR) WR 879 by 4 & 2
Main draw
L32: James Ward WR 527 v (Q) Alexander Vasin (RUS) UNR - today L32: Chris Eaton WR 645 beat Fred Hemmes (NED) WR 598 by 4 & 4 L32: (8) Miles Kasiri WR 512 lost to Sergei Bubka (UKR) WR 622 by 6-3 6-7(5) 6-1 L32: (2) Josh Goodall WR 353 v Rui Machado (POR) WR 611 - today
An excellent win for Chris against Hemmes, who was a top 200 player in 2004 in a year when he beat Jonny Marray in USO qualifying and was 3-0 v Brits in the last 12 months, having beaten Skupski last month. As I feared though, Bubka has started to make this look like the section of death for the Brits. Hopefully Chris can keep up his good form and stop that coming completely true.
Vasin qualified without facing a ranked player, getting a w/o in the FQR, so he's about the best qualifier James (another who, like Seator in Nigeria, could effectively make it to 53 points today) could hope to get, but Machado, who allowed Luke Campbell just one game in QR3, is one of the tougher ones, though Josh should still be extremely happy with his draw and looking to score a fair number of points this week. L16: Ward or Vasin v (3) Martin Pedersen (DEN) WR 376 or (Q) Vladyslav Klymenko (UKR) WR 879 L16: Chris Eaton WR 645 v Sergei Bubka (UKR) WR 622 L16: Goodall or Machado v (Q) Florian Reynet (FRA) WR 857 or (WC) Jose-Ricardo Nunes (POR) WR 1492
