I so didn't see this coming, it's brilliant It's got to be the best Murray day yet - both winning tournaments on two different continents, both tournaments harder than San Jose last year and done with the pressure of all those points to defend!

Wow, what a victory! What a week! This partnership finally paying off like we thought it would
I couldn't agree more. Finally the result we've all been waiting for. Murray mum must be on top of the world: her two sons winning tournaments in the same week, nay the same day. What a scalp.
Both Murrays already get a mention on the ATP home page already.
Anybody prepared to offer odds on its being reported any more widely than that &, I assume, The Times (& possibly one or two of the other broadsheets)?
That's wonderful news! I hope the partnership is really going places now.
Are they now together for the foreseeable future? Has the Bjorkman/Mirnyi partnership broken for good - I thought it might have been just while Jonas took time off for his child's birth?
On the ATP doubles section it has Bjorkman down as partnered by Ullyett so i'd guess that leaves it open for murray to remain with Mirnyi. I assume he won't move up the rankings this week due to him having to defend points? It won't be long before he is moving up again with results like this.
Well done to Max and Jamie, very glad to see the partnership shacking out and working now, it was always going to take a couple of tournaments. Long may the winning streak continue! Jamie has another tournament win to defend next/this week doesn't he? Hope they can do it!

It'll be very revealing to see which papers that reported the Murray bros bust-up also report on BOTH of these wins ...
In fairness to the press, most of the newspapers (from the Times down to the Sun) cover Andy's win in detail with a mention of Jamie's win tacked ont othe end.
