Well, it looks like they did turn it round. They win 3-6, 7-6, 11-9. Very, very tight. They won't be happy, they should be steam rollering this type of oppostion. Did anyone see the match?
I heard rumours that Mirnyi was really hacked off with JM after their defeat in the Aussie open. Does anyone know more?
Apparently Mirnyi stormed off the court in a bit of a huff, but I doubt he was shouting the odds at Jamie in the locker rrom and telling him it was all his fault!

If Neil Harman is to be believed, he had no right to be - short extract from his report on that AO defeat:
Much to the chagrin of the British support group - and it was large in number, including little brother Andy for the final set - Murray and Mirnyi were soundly beaten 7-6, 1-6, 6-3 and Mirnyi's thunderous face - though he was the team's weak link - as he marched back to the locker-rooms suggested that he was about to live up to his nickname as the Beast of Belarus.
I really thought the boys were going to blow it last night! Really relieved that they didn't! Interestingly, Booty & Kerr, the third seeds, lost out to Mardy Fish & Mark Knowles last night, while Stephen Huss & Sam Querrey, who must've been last-minute stand-ins for Paul Capedville & Dudi Sela, saw off the fourth seeds, Kunitsyn & Thomas, 4-6 7-6(8) [10-8], which means that our boy & the Beast & the Bryans are the only seeds left standing. The latter play in the last match on the Stadium Court today (i.e. in the wee small hours our time!), as do the remaining two first round matches, while the Fish & Knowles set the QF ball rolling when they tackle Scott Lipsky & David Martin in the final match on Court 1! Weather permitting, Hutch & Hanescu will get the proceedings on the same court under way against Becker & Levinsky at 16.00 GMT. Ain't gonna be easy...
