What a dire, dire result that is. Maybe Slabba's glad he's not playing after all! I hope he's not going to have a year that makes it a hat-trick of disasters from the Brits who have gone on playing deepest into December - Matt Smith, who did it in Dec 2005, dropped hundreds of places in 2006 and Josh has been out of form ever since doing it in Dec 2006.

GB on a shirt, Davis Cup still gleaming, 79 years of hurt, never stopped us dreaming ... 29/11/2015 that dream came true!
Don't think they are; it looks as though both they and their intended opponents have withdrawn - certainly the projected quarter-final opponents of the winners have been given a walk-over into the semis. Perhaps the withdrawal and the singles loss are related - a bug, or a minor injury, hopefully, rather than anything more serious or longer term.
Chris Eaton and his Estonian partner, Mait Kunnap, have successfully made their way to the semi-finals by beating KLIZAN (SVK) / NIEMINEN (FIN) 6-3 6-2. Their Serbian/Croatian adversaries have just one singles ranking point and no doubles points between them. Hopefully, Chris and Mait can take full advantage and reach the final.
The six points Chris has gained to date lift him to a projected Career High of 676. Good stuff, Chris.
And believe it or not, the boys are now through to the final, having beaten Basic & Raguz 3 & 3. There they'll take on the unseeded pair, Duclos & Matsukevich (CAN/RUS), who did for the top seeds, Ball & Feeney, in the first round!

The organisers in Zagreb and/or the ITF official(s) responsible for maintaining the web site have finally pulled their collective finger out & posted the results of the finals - & we had another winner at the weekend, folks: Chris & Mait pulled it off, winning 2-6 7-5 [10-8]. Quite a tussle!
