Boggo's Live Ranking During Week 6

The New Table is posted here (on britishtennis.net)

Boggo's defending 21 points from his Wroclaw Challenger quarter final this week. As a result he plunges 15 places out of the top 200 to sit at 203 cry.gifcry.gifcry.gif As he's playing Davis Cup, he can't go to Bergamo to defend the points.

Munoz de la Nava, Bachinger, Ram and Greul drop with him

One threat, Bachinger went out in R1 of Bergamo qualifying.

The only threats play in Bergamo this week.

plus yoy know all the sods doing the dc show wont explain how the ranking system works and say alex is down thsi low, probably make no mention that it's beacuse of the tie he has lost a bit.

The revised ranking won't apply until next week (after DC), so Boggo's ranking is still at the dizzy height of 187, and is unaffected by him playing DC. You can't blame DC for Boggo's current ranking, that's down to Boggo himself I'm afraid.

i know it is mike, but because of the dc boggo has effectivly missed several events and the opportunity to defend his points.

plus he is risking picking up an injury by switching surfaces so qucikly and cant afford injuires this year as he missed so much of last year! sound familiar?

Actually I'd prefer to congratulate Boggo for putting the opportunity to represent his country above his own self interest, especially as we are almost certain to lose the DC tie.
