How funny - it was Gomez who beat him in qualifying!

Did he, now?  I didn't bother to check before I posted (well, it was getting rather late... eyepopping.gif ).  Must have learnt a thing or two in that qualifying match! thumbsup.gif

Good luck to both boys today... pray.gif

No mystery to me, I fear, DJ - though I believe it's "gal", it being in the good ol' US of A an' all...! wink

That explains why you've not listed your date of birth in your bio !!

... and I stand (well, sit, to be strictly accurate) corrected on the nomenclature for the young lady in question. Thanks for that.smile.gif

Bradshaw for the title...........maybe not haha

Good effort from both lads, i notice Wardy's 2nd round tie is against Victor Romero who was top 400 just two months ago so thats quite a tough one!!!

Bradshaw has no chance against Cook i'm afraid

Not good news - Tim withdrew, James lost 4 and 2.

Yet another good British doubles result, though, with James and his Spanish partner through to the semi-finals, 3 and 5; all the seeds are out of the doubles, so there are serious chances of a title.

Ah well

no shame in that result.............see how the doubles go and then on to Cuba for the mighty JW

He's going to be the player of 2008 as far as british tennis goes me thinks!
