Damn you, DJ, I was going to post exactly the same thing! That said, great win for James! Here's hoping he can do the same to his SF opponent, the curiously named top seed, Ryler de Heart (320) (could only be a Yank...!)
Sorry about that, Stircrazy! What makes it worse is that I had edited my post to include a wee bit more information before I saw yours. I agree, a great win.
The ITF site says this is a 15K+h too and they should know. Another excellent result for James, who will make the top 500 if he wins his semi-final, though now that he is playing the no. 1 seed, that may be a step too far, even the way James is playing this week.
The only Brit de Heart has played recently is Jamie Baker, winning a very tight match against him in Calabasas in October then losing to him in straight sets in Knoxville in November.

Great win for James, Gonzalez is a former top 150 player, was in the low 200's this time last year, so that's pretty good pedigree for James to be beating.
Bit annoying that the top half of the draw had a rest day after the quarters. Its fair enough at Wimbledon but I'd have thought the players here would rather get on with it and get to the next tournament location in as much time as poss!
Ryler De Heart and friend were given a proper pasting in the doubles final. Hopefully he's crestfallen!
Come on James!!!!!!!!!!!
