Two more career highs this week:- Katie O'Brien 115 (This is above the peak of 118 so far reached by both Anne Keothavong and Elena Baltacha) Yasmin Clarke 711 (Jumping another 40 places to add to the 68 places she moved last week)
Thanks, Peter, for the above; knowing that you'll be doing this takes much of the (self-imposed, to be sure) pressure off me to get the new highs up quickly, especially useful as I'm often busy of a Monday.
I've three new doubles highs to add: Amanda Elliott at 322, Naomi Broady at 456, and Nicola Slater at 700.
Thanks again, Peter; and for that small band of us who are interested in doubles rankings, ANNA SMITH jumps 46 spots to number 233, while NICOLA SLATER finds herself in the six hundreds for the first time on 699.
Four titles for the girls this week:- Jade and Liz in the $10K doubles in Edinburgh Sarah Borwell in the $25K doubles in Irapuato, Mexico Mel South in the $50K doubles in Fukuoka, Japan Anne Keothavong in the $50K singles in Jounieh, Lebanon
Six new singles highs this week: Anne Keothavong pushes closer to the top 100 at 104, Amanda Elliott's remarkable climb continues, now into the top 400 at 398, Yasmin Clarke breaches the 700 mark at 668, Amanda Carerras appears at 783, Nicola Mooney approaches three figures in 1024th position and there's a first sighting of a Ren, with Jennifer debuting on the senior stage at 1063.
... and eight doubles highs in all: Anna Fitzpatrick, 215; Anna Smith, 229; Amanda Elliott, 304; Jocelyn Rae, 813; Stephanie Cornish, 852; Amy Sargeant, 896; Natasha Marks, 971; Olivia Howlett, 986.
Thanks, Peter; I had noted Jennifer, but omitted to list her. Amanda's omission, though, was a careless slip - I simply didn't register her rise. My apologies, girls. I've also amended the comment, just in case there are folk who read them, rather than check the lists.
