Thank the lord for Bloomfield, he's the only player stopping British tennis fans feeling totally suicidal at the moment!!!

true, but really bloomers is better than futures and should be playing challengers at least, he has been top 200 in the past and should hopfully be there soon again. all these wins should be good for his confeince, plus i guess that he has a bit more freedom to experiment in the matches, bit like federer then biggrin

Have you noticed the semi-finals this week are almost a repeat of those in Sunderland last week.weirdfaceBloomers v Nieminen ( instead of Norfeldt) and Flock v Mannarino. ohmygod.gif Let's hope the final (when it's played has the same outcome as last week) please.gif

Bloomers has 35 points to come off which is a shame as the two futures last year would of awarded 36 points but this year with it being 10k its 24 points

but i agree he is keeping us smiling single handedly at the moment!!!

More importantly for him he has earned some $'s which will most probably be enough to pay for a couple of flights and accommodation abroad for ATP and/or challengers!

nod.gif  I guess it's pretty much a case of the usual suspects on the circuit, H, whether it be ATP, Challenger or Futures! shrug.gif  I'll certainly second your pray.gifs! wink

Only saw the last few games but Bloomers looked pretty flat to be honest. Niemenen's not a great player but very solid and keeps the ball in court a lot, chases the ball well. If Bloomers was at the top of his game he'd beat him but not on this day.

Still 16 points from two weeks and nine matches under your belt isn't a bad start to the season, I hope he can build on it and have a good year.

Oh dear! cry Pity it had to be Mannarino who kept the pattern going and not Bloomers. boo.gif What happened in the doubles?

Don't bother anyone, I've found out for myself. weirdfaceKrkoska and Raja won 7-6(7) 7-6(4). Close, but not close enough. angered.gif
