(2) VASSALLO ARGUELLO, Martin ARG/BYE CAKL, Tomas CZE v FRIEDL, Leos CZE JUN, Woong-Sun KOR v STATHAM, Mikal (oliver) NZL SA, Andre BRA v (7) BAKER, Jamie GBR
Not quite sure how to rate this draw......Sa's ranked 536 but has been up to no 55 back in 2002 when he made the Wimbledon quarters. He's been top 30 doubles and beat the Murray brothers in Paris at the end of the season. Hasn't played since then due to injury...that's why he's so low....had mixed results in 2007, losses in rd1 of challengers and then pushing Karlovic to a final set breaker in the States
Jamie Baker WR 214 beat Andre Sa (BRA) WR 536 by 3 & 2
Given Sa's history, that's a very convincing and impressive win, and it's great to see him getting into practice at beating a member of a South American DC team - Sa played doubles with Kuerten and beat Eschauer in the dead rubber in their 4-1 loss to Austria in the WG playoffs at the same time as we were beating Croatia.
Next up Woong-Sun Jun (KOR) WR 330.

Well done Jamie. That's a good win over Sa. He should get through his next match as well and then have a good crack at qualifying in the final round. Another good start to the year.
