He was 15-40 in the first game of the second set, and I was thinking yes he is going to waltz this set as well. But then he lets Stadler back in it. And at 5-5 3rd set he was 15-40 up and then lost 8 straight points to lose the match.
i agree wolf, i have said onthe other boards that i thinkthsi is really the biggest area alex needs to improve. he has no porblem making chances, but he just cant seem to take them. i am guessing he missed 10+bp's thats not good enough as i would have though he would have been winnign more than 50% of the overall points in the match.
in fact i even said this after looking at the stats of hsi 1st win vs oger in NC, although in this case i hate to be right

Bitterly disappointed by Boggo, its not like he was playing a top 100 player and just getting beat, the guy was ranked around 200 so he should have won comfortabely especially after the first set.
I wonder if Jamie B has any idea quite how many people are going to be watching livescores at 2 am and cheering him on ... I remember him looking astonished when the Ja-mie Ba-ker chant started up for his DC dead rubber, as if he wasn't aware that many people even knew his name.

Jamie breaks to love *1-0 Jamie holds with difficulty 2-0* Dani holds with difficulty *2-1 Jamie holds to love 3-1* Dani survives a break point *3-2 Jamie holds 4-2*
Three very long games in those first six, but not a patch on the Warburg match which lasted nearly 4 hours.
