loosk like boggo will be going to miami, has drawn robby ginepri in the 1st rd, with pavel stobel or stadler in the 2nd and possibly no1 seed hasse in 3rd.
jamie player yuri schulkin (9), possibly peya in the 2nd rd, other seed is koellerer,
so if jamie can get past yuri has a good chance, but will be very suprised if alex gets anywhere :(

QR1: Alex Bogdanovic WR 180 v (q18) Robby Ginepri (USA) WR 132 - the other seed in this section is (q1) Robin Haase (NED) WR 103
QR1: Jamie Baker WR 217 v (q9) Yuri Schukin (RUS) WR 120 - the other seed in this section is (q31) Daniel Koellerer (AUT) WR 163
Jamie is 3rd on Court 5, probably sometime after 02.00 GMT, while Boggo is 6th on Court 6, probably sometime after 06.30 GMT.
I'm still trying to work out how Ginepri ended up outside the top 100 at the end of last year. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw how bad Alex's draw was.

Robin Haase (Ned) (1) v Go Soeda (Jpn) Scott Oudsema (USA) v Julian Reister (Ger) Pavel Snobel (Cze) v Simon Stadler (Ger) Alex Bogdanovic (Gbr) v Robby Ginepri (USA) (18)
Yuri Schukin (Rus) (9) v Jamie Baker (Gbr) Marko Tkalec (Slo) v Alexander Peya (Aut) Thomas Oger (Fra) v Fritz Wolmanars (Rsa) Adrian Ungur (Rou) v Daniel Koellerer (Aut) (31)
You've got to say that's possibly as good a draw as Jamie B could hope for, catch the high ranked player cold in the first round. Although Peya and Oger are pretty good aswell. Let's face it, it's tough, but Grand Slam tennis is tough. Shocker for Alex though, how on earth did Ginepri fall out of the 100? And Haase is a class player.
from looking at tennis insight ginepri isnt in great shape at the mo:
Jan 7 2008 Unknown - ret. from Sydney ATP Qualifying Dec 31 2007 Back - ret. from Adelaide ATP Qualifying
although in both cases he won his opening match b4 pulling out in the 2nd match, so hopefully that trend will stop. beither with losing his opening match or pulling out in it.

How far Ginepri has fallen........thats a shame...even though I dont like him much...no reason....he just annoys me when I see him play. He has fallen from 51 last January out of the top 100 last October to 134...highest ranking of 15 in Jan 06...only won two career ATP singles titles.
Saying all that...Boggo must be peed off with the draw !!
The Paisley lad cant grumble though. If he qualifies I will shave my mouser off !
lol, i think it can't be that bad if Robby is 134, surely it means his rankiong is still falling, we dont know how bad he is playing at the moment so it could be a blessing in disguise
Remember last year when he played Andy. It was Andy's first match back from injury and Ginepri was totally shockingly awful. Andy won in straights I think and then went on to lose in straights to Fognini and then the next week got slaughtered by Baghdatis, so Ginepri must have been playing pretty badly to lose to Andy when he clearly wasn't even ready to be playing yet. Hopefully, he's still in that sort of poor form and Alex has a chance.
