I have just seen that Olivier Rochus' brother Christophe, who at 5'7" is a whole inch taller than Ollie, has qualified and is drawn against Ivo Karlovic rofl.gif

The pair of them at the net should be quite amusing!

First match of the year on TV. How can we complain?

Andy to win in 2. I'm wondering how many drop shots he'll be trying now that he doesn't have Brad or Petch to tell him to stop them.

Rochus will be a good opening test for Andy, will be interesting to see what sort of form he's in after sluggish opening match performances for the past 2 years. Rochus is ranked 48 but has been as high as 24. Last year he made the final of Mumbai and several other ATP quarters...beat some good players too - Davydenko etc

15-0: baseline exchange, Murray slices are a bit too short and Rochus rips a forehand winner

15-15: R attacks net behind a deep forehand into M's bh corner. doesnt do enough with volley and M dips fh at his feet

15-30: netted bh

30-30: ace down T, M thought it was long

30-40: R attacks net, M reads drop volley and passes him

deuce: R attacks net behind big fh. teasing lob from M and R's bh smash lands right on the line

Ad M: big fh return, R goes long

deuce 2: M nets bh going dtl

Ad M: 2nd serve and M is right onto it, slams bh return dtl

deuce 3: good serve, big fh into corner

Ad M: M onto 2nd serve again, rips bh winner cross-court

Game: deep bh into the corner, R goes wide
