Such a shame from Naomi, I had really hoped she'd qualify. Still, great from Bally and shouldn't let anything take away from the fact that it's been an amazing;y good weekend from the girls. Hope Bally gets a good draw and can make it last even longer!!

Looking positive for the AO qualifying as well, fingers (, toes, hair, teeth, eyes, etc) crossed

Unfortunately, Elena got the worst draw of all the qualifiers - she was the only one to get a seed and will play (7) Eleni Daniilidou (GRE) WR 42, 1st on Centre at 11 am NZ (10 pm UK) - it's a pity our girls are likely to get so few points to show for playing so well at the weekend.

I saw Rolle at Surbiton and she is a very powerful player, although Becki Llewellyn took a set from her....hoped it would be closer tho. Crap draw for Bally

She is playing well and on a roll now as well as having no points to defend. She can only keep gaining.

well Bally's getting outclassed at the moment in the baseline rallies....D is hitting some stinging returns, Bally needs to find some more 1st serves and the errors off her backhand are hurting her atm
