a really close match it seems. I have no idea who to support (like everyone else!). What are the rankings of the others in the FQR? (ie would there be any chance of a LL spot for the loser?)

Are these two good friends? Must make it that much more difficult.

what a close set....Mel must be gutted to lose that though after being a break up twice....wouldn't be surprised to see Bally run away with the 2nd now

I'm kinda rooting for Bally as she might have a better chance in the main draw matches, will be happy whoever wins though

Zheng's 149, MAnasieva is 162 and the other three non-Brits are seeded, so the three Brits are the lowest-ranked players left - which says a lot for how well they have all done but means that any LL places for them are very unlikely.

If Naomi can find a way to win today, it'll have been a brilliant weekend whatever happens in the current match.
