Congratulations to Oliver Evans (845) for getting to the final of this event, losing to the 2nd seed Dean O'Brien (RSA 269) 6-4, 6-1 in the final not helped by a foot injury.  Oliver had beaten the top seed on the way to the finals.

He also made the quarter-finals of the doubles partnering Lewis Burton.

Bravo to Oliver then. Any idea what that'll do to his ranking anyone?

How old is he?

Thanks Imoen.

It pushes him inside 650 so a rise of 200 places.

DOB 11-02-1990 so only one more year in juniors.  Only played a few tournaments, mainly in GB but also a couple in Morocco.  Apart from the Scottish championships this seems to be his first year on the circuit - so relatively unknown.
