Sad day. I am shocked. I really thought England would get a draw and be there and before England played in Russia I was looking forward to hopefully having both England and Scotland there. I just feel awful for both countries, although England really don't deserve to go.
It is just a shame, a few years ago I used to love the Euro/World Cup Summers.....England on a run and Henman at Timbledon, next Summer will be an anti climax....although hopefully Andy is ready to have a great run at Wimbledon.
Rofl at people feeling sorry for Mclaren. Hard to feel sorry for a guy who performs with total incompetence for 15 months, then gets a £2.5 million payoff. Why on earth did we give him a 4 year contract????

I shot that as he was playing in a strong wind. If you take a look down at the end court, look at the wind breaker. I mean, how funny is that? There are 8 courts there, this was the only court being used, although the inside courts were full.
There are not many tennis tournys in Montana and so it is a real drive for him to play (MT is the fourth largest State). In addition, I became a father again on Monday, which is why I have not been here a lot, but he still plays team tennis and has group lessons.
Congrats Doug on the new arrival...boy or girl ? Best wishes to your whole family. God bless.
Looks a prospect....if he enjoys then thats great !!!
Did you read the thread about the 10 year old Scot who got a 10 year contract to the exclusive Paris tennis academy...Rosco Wilson is his name. From Greenock. His whole family moved there onto the estate. He gets 10 years of education and top tennis coaching. It has produced the likes of Mathieu and Baghdatis.
A little girl. We are over the moon and all doing well. My wife has had three c-sections so this is it for us, besides I am now 41.
I don't know, life is for living and I think if my son had a chance like that I might take it. My wife is game too, life is an adventure, which is how we ended up in a place like Montana.
Give it another couple of years and if my son is still doing well against kids older and still loves to practice in the wind then I'll write to the USTA. The problem here is that there are only four inside courts within an 80 mile radius, so my son does not get much court time. I think there are two inside courts in Butte, but that is the closest, and Montana only has about 8 Junior Tournys.
Maybe we should have stayed in Cali, but we had no idea how much Marcus would enjoy tennis and besides....Montana is God's country.
The FA has decided to go ahead with its plan to release a CD for Euro 2008. Cliff Richard will be leading the squad singing "We're All Going On A Summer Holiday"
