Week 47 - Challenger ($50,000) - Knoxville, TN, USA

ATP combined sheet says Jamie won 4 & 4, plays Kendrick in the semis smile.gif and is in the doubles semis too and the OP for Friday agrees with this. I'm surprised all the matches have already finished though ...

Edit: main draw drawsheet now agrees too, it must be true! smile.gif

Someone on MTF has posted "Baker 6-4 6-4".

He has followed this up with "The results I've said above have now been put on the singles ATP draw so are most likely correct. "

So the result is possibly/hopefully correct?!!

If so.. Baker Boiii..! =]

Outposted by Steven though..!

biggrin.gifw00t.gifw00t.gif I love it when Baker wins.

Kendrick could be tough but looks like Jamie is in some fine form so hopefully tough just won't be enough to stop Jamie. please.gifsmile.gif

Tomorrow's OoP is up & the SFs in both disciplines kick off at 18.00 GMT on the centre court:  first up, Levy (ISR) & Warburg, the top seeds, vs Anderson (RSA) & de Heart, followed by Jamie B vs the US second seed, Robert Kendrick, then Kim (???) vs Levine & last, but not least, Jamie B & Brendan Evans (4) vs Rogers & Smith (AUS)...  So, Jamie's the only player to feature in both! clap.gif

Kendrick seems to me to be a bit of a "hot and cold" character - let's hope he is cold tomorrow!

Get in there. Just when people were starting to write him off again, Jamie comes up with another big week. A win tomorrow would be superb, but it's already been a very nice return to form.

Go Jamie.
If he can win the tourny where would he be ranked?
Would it take him into the top 200?

DD - this is taken from Robs ranking thread.

What- if for this week

Jamie has 192 points and is sitting at 210

If Jamie wins the Knoxville Title (past Kendrick and then Kimor Levine), He'll have 223 points
He will overtake Recouderc, Lammer, Kamke, Kukushkin, Andreas Beck, Marc Lopez, Delgado, Jan Minar, Bozoljac, Bellucci, Huta Galung, Stadler, Munoz, Dupuis, Mertl, Christophe Rochus, Julio Silva and Chardy
He could overtake:
Leonardo Mayer, if he doesn't win the Puerta title
He could be overtaken by:
Stakhovsky, if he wins the KL title.
Best case: 191, worst case 193.

If Jamie beats Kendrick today, He'll have 206 points
He will overtake Recouderc, Lammer, Kamke, Kukushkin, Andreas Beck, Marc Lopez, and Delgado
He could overtake:
Leonardo Mayer, if he loses to Felder in Puebla
He could be overtaken by:
Junquera, if he wins the Lima title
Stakhovsky, if he reaches the KL final.
Best case: 202, worst case 205

If Jamie loses today:
He could be overtaken by:
Junquera, if he reaches the Lima final
Stakhovsky, if he reaches the KL final.

Best case: 210, worst case 212

If he was to win the tournie I have him getting to about 185 or so! He's got a tough test against kendrick though but he's definitely got the talent to win it.

EDIT- But wolf explains it ALOT better!

Yeah, sadly, it looks that way:  no sign of any results, but tomorrow's OoP is up & the final will be between Kendrick & Levine or Kim.  cry  If, on the other hand, he & Evans make it to the doubles final, they'll face Levy & Warburg, the top seeds... hmm
