Wooooooooo! A win for Jamie. Let's hope for a few more this week.

Hopefully he can make his last event a goodun, if he can get a couple more wins under his belt at least, he will end the year at a career high, which is surely what you want?!

Great effort from Jamie to tough out two tiebreaks when he's not been in the best of form!
Tough match up next but I guess Jamie will be new to both of them so hopefully he can spring a surprise...
Fingers crossed for him, too, when he walks back on court with Brendan Evans (USA), the pair of them the fourth seeds in the doubles, no earlier than 23.00 GMT today, to face two other Yanks, Justin Diao Natale ( ) & Nikita Kryvonos...
I'm not sure which of those would be better, if it was Gabashvili Baker could reap some revenge on behalf of Sheddie, but Gabash also has a nasty habit of winning when Sheddie doesn't think he will so that could be dangerous.
On the other hand Bozoljiac is a bit of a pig to spell. (I don't really know much about either of them)

ah well, that's as good a way to pick a result as any, I guess........
Bozoljac was playing in Nashville 2 weeks ago as were Bogdanovic and Bogomolov Jr: which I think is a first for the BO boys. I dream of the event when these three and Dolgopolov Junior make it to the semis, and Ken gets to get veeeeerrrry confused on Radio Tennis. Especially as three of them are called Alex.
Looking on the bright side, Jamie beat Bozo 2 & 3 in Joplin in February, but Bozo is now on a run of good form (two SFs and one Final in his last five challengers) and I think it's fair to say that Jamie is not, so I would make Bozo the favourite for this one.
Ken: We're here talking to Ilya Beaujolac after his win today? Did I say that right? Bozo: Almost, actually it's Bo-zol-yac. Ken: Ah OK, BEAUjolac.
And yes, I too love the idea of him commentating on an event with all the Bogs and Bos and Alexes in the semis

The power of prayer...! He's in action twice today: the second match on Court 4 after Levy vs van der Merwe, which kicks off at 14.00 GMT, & then with Evans against the Battistone boys in the second match of the evening session on Court 1, after Rettenmaier vs Levine, which gets under way at 23.00 GMT. Some more called for, methinks... And just for good measure: !
