He's sitting at exactly 100 right now, but with Isner and Lu poised to overtake him. A place in the final will make it certain.

I'm not a fan of Young but his results this autumn have been quite awesome...3 challenger finals and a 4th looks likely

been quite a 2007 season...back in February he lost in rd1 of a Costa Rican 10K to some geezer ranked 600ish

This is Jamie's last tourney of the season (I presume he's not playing Brisbane or New Delhi)...hopefully he can go out on a bang and get some kind of "ranking insulation" for all the pts he's got to defend in February.......otherwise he's probably going to have to qualify and win some rounds in one of the January ATPs to preserve his current ranking

Young made the final and the top 100. He gets a rematch with Levine who beat him last wek, and stands poised on the edge of the top 200, having risen from no- where 2 weeks ago.

I guess it may have something to do with his early days, when he was consistantly handed WC's despite bad losses in order to give him ranking points.
