Both matches scheduled for tomorrow along with the first-round doubles match between Eaton & Ward and the 3rd seeds from Belgium, Bemelmans and Desein.
I thought Miles would lose that one....watched Bemelmans at Redbridge and he really pushed Voltchkov....he's a Feli Lopez lookalike...leftie who hits with a lot of topspin, really good serve..movement isnt great though
Impressive stuff from Eaton ! In the past 6 months he's really beefed up his game...serve is a lot more of a weapon, can hit some stunning winners off both sides....from what Ive seen, he blows hot and cold in matches...has a run of games where he's unplayable then suddenly the errors start to creep in again
Decent performance from Chris in that semi, Desein is ranked a lot higher and has made 3 futures finals this year and it looks like first two sets could have gone either way. He's starting to match these kinda guys regularly now...another one in the 500-700 range to watch out for, along with Slabba, Kasiri, Ward and Skupski
The 3 Brits should again have a good chance of going deep in next week's 10K...the only guy in that field who really stands out is Harel Levy (former top 30).....apart from him, most of the other guys are beatable on a good day
