3 really good results there today, well 2 good and one outstanding one!! Shame for the Skupster but he is progressing well and hopefully these wins will come in time at Challenger. Much needed points for Bloomers & Boggo, really hope one of them scores big this week and a great result for Slabba.
i love confident we all are that the slabba result is true!!!
Seriously though that's excellent from Slabs
Shame for Skupski but he did well to keep it close in the second set and not just give up after the breadstick of the first. Looks like he was learning Guez's game as he went along which is positive (of course it's also complete speculation on my part so could be rubbish!!)
Great to see Boggo win what was a tricky round 1 draw. I hope his injuries have all cleared up. And far from being distracted by the news of Brad being his coach, I think he'll be hungry to prove himself worthy of it in this final tournament of the year. I think that could be a really positive partnership (so long as personalities don't clash horribly). Brad can teach Alex the thing he needs the most, the ability to 'win ugly'.

i know its not the place but has anyoen else noticed that the bbc has stopped putting uk results up. maybe they got fed up with poor service from lta?
The BBC seems to put up results once a day now (though I can only find the link when mjd posts it on MTF, it's no longer linked to from the place on the BBC site it used to be linked from.
Sporting Life now seem to have a results update service that updates at about the same speed the BBC one used to, which probalby makes it the quickest way to get updates without calling the tournament or being in touch with someone there.
If Slabba did win, that'll mean we have four players in the 501-600 range next Monday. That's been unusual recently.
In fact, I noticed while skimming through the 1973- 2007 year-end rankings that it's been very common for us to have players all the way down to the 400s and lots of players in the 600s but nobody in the 501-600 range, it must be a coincidence though.

GB on a shirt, Davis Cup still gleaming, 79 years of hurt, never stopped us dreaming ... 29/11/2015 that dream came true!
With Alex producing form like this, perhaps he'll be the first of our four-man field to reach that magic top 500, pipping Miles, Ed and James. Live totals are, I think: Miles, 41; Ed, 39; Alex and James, 36 - the 500th place is, at the moment, held with 50 points. Imagine, though, our dream scenario: Ed winning in Kampala, James beating Miles in the Israel final, and Alex reaching the Shrewsbury semis. That would give our lads totals of 56 (ES), 54 (JW), 53 (AS) and 52 (MK); what a difference that would make to Steven's graph! (Though it would take till a week on Monday for this to appear in the ATP tables, given the 'Futures timelag'.) Sweet dreams, all!
