Good choice of WC imo. The LTA are so lazy, every other main challenger draw on the ATP website has been published yet the shrewsbury draw has not even got its qualies draw upfurious

Pity Josh didnt enter this event, he would have had DA and left WC for someone else.

Rice has a decent chance of qualifying if he hits form, Charroin and Sitak are v beatable

How is Karol Beck now ranked so low !!!! A few years ago he won Surbiton and made rd3 of Queens beating Henman and taking Roddick to 3

Here's the qualifying draw again, this time with comparative rankings for those who might be interested. There were exactly enough entrants to fill the draw, so nobody who turned up got left out. Unfortunately the Brits with the best (albeit outside) chances of getting through have ended up in the toughest sections of the draw, so Sheddie might be right about Rice having the best chance out of anyone.

QR1: Matt Smith WR 877 v (q1) Timo Nieminen (FIN) WR 370
QR1: Neil Bamford WR 873 v Ian Flanagan WR 898
QR1: Dominick Clewes UNR v (q8) Ralph Grambow (GER) WR 641
QR1: Richard Irwin WR 872 v Thomas Schoeck (GER) WR 785
QR1: Daniel Cottier UNR v Orion Modebe UNR
QR1: Joshua Milton WR 1279 v (q3) Igor Sijsling (NED) WR 507
QR1: Matthew Illingworth WR 1161 v Alex Parry UNR
QR1: Edward Allinson WR 1041 v Nikki Roenn UNR
QR1: Joshua Miller UNR v (q6) Rasmus Norby (DEN) WR 551
QR1: Jeffrey Zungunde UNR v Philipp Marx (GER) WR 642
QR1: Adam Taylor UNR v Matthew James UNR
QR1: David Rice WR 1220 v (q7) Olivier Charroin (FRA) WR 626

Many thanks for the info, Arka. I assume Cox is preparing for the Orange Bowl then?
