win would be good - he's more likely to knock out Haas in the QF and Robredo in the SF than Wawrinka is.

Rafa duly obliged.

Actually, I want Youzhny to beat Haas. . . I like Haas, but Tommy will go back above Andy if he wins. Misha would stay behind!

What if...?

Andy were to lose in the qfs?
He'd have 351 points.
He'd definitely overtake no one.
He could overtake Haas and Robredo and Blake if they LOSE their next match.
He could be overtaken by Berdych and Gasquet if they reach the Semis (for Gasquet that means beating Andy in the QFs, if he gets that far); Youzhny, if he reaches the final; Baghdatis and Nalbandian if they win.
Best case: 8th
Worst case: 11th

Andy were to lose in the sfs?
He'd have 371 points.
He'd definitely overtake no one
He could overtake Haas and Robredo if they go out before the semis.
Best case: 8th

Andy were to lose in the f?
He'd have 396 points.
He'd definitely overtake Gonzalez.
He could overtake Haas and Robredo if they go out before the final.
Best case: 7th
Worst  case: 8th as only one of Haas/Robredo/those behind can reach the final if Andy's already there.

Andy were to win the tournament?
He'd have 426 points.
He'd definitely overtake Gonzalez, Haas and Robredo.
He could be overtaken by no one.
Best case: 7th
Worst case: 7th

Same here Madeline, plus I chose Youzhny to win that match in the Pickem.

Personally I'm trying to concentrate on Gasquet beating Blake (again makes no difference as Andy HAS to beat the winner tomorrow but I'd prefer Gasquet to stay behind than Blake to jump back ahead).

He's obliged with the first set, just at the start of the second now, Come on Gasquet!

Also Ferrer and Berdych are about to play, would be marvelous if Ferrer could take out the Berdman. smile.gif
