Federer beat Karlovic so another one bites the dust.

Topsy-turvy match going on between Mahut and Blake. Blake went 2-0 up but then Mahut broke twice to lead 3-2 with a break, but then Blake broke straight back and then held to lead 4-3.

Pointswise, it effectively doesn't make much difference who wins between Blake and Gasquet.

If Andy beats Santoro, he would be due to play Blake / Gasquet in the quarter finals and couldn't afford to lose to either of them.

So, really we probably just want to win who would best suit Andy in the quarter finals,

It does now confirm that Andy will have to reach at least the semi-finals, which we have probably suspected all along.
