Not technically a British male tennis player, but...

Wouldn't it be nice to think that the British tennis world could rally round & give this young man a helping hand (e.g. in the shape of free, or cut-price, equipment/racket restringing & access to physiotherapy)... idea

This bit seemed particularly worthy of being highlighted, for obvious reasons:

"Andy Barclay, a prominent coach who is working with the Iranian as and when time allows, recognises the "frightening power" that his recruit possesses. He knows that he has to increase his stamina, quicken his feet and improve his fitness, but, Barclay said: "That will all come in time." What the coach is in awe of, though, is his dedication. "I wish that British youngsters could even comprehend what this guy has gone through to try to make it," Barclay said."

Give this article to some of those young guns at the LTA. Might make them realise how lucky they.

Yeah, that thought had crossed my mind, wolf, which is why I singled out the passage I did... wink
