The crowd out there is getting good value for its money. 12 of the first round matches were three setters!

And their opponents in the QF will be not the American third seeds, Patrick Briaud & Donald Young, as most would no doubt have expected, but the American WCs, Brendan Evans & Alberto ( disbelief.gif ) Francis.  Does a SF place beckon, I wonder...

update on boggo, he was injured, a problem with his rib, similar to the one he had at the usoq.

i think he needs to change something in his prepartion or training, he is getting too many injuries recently.

And their opponents in the SF will be the American WCs, our old friend, Scott Oudsema, & Tim Smyczek, who saw off the American third seeds, Robert Kendrick & Brian Wilson, 6-4 7-6(5).  Dare we hope that a place in the final is on the cards? please.gif

Baker & Ryderstedt will face either the fourth seeds, John Isner & Travis Parrott, or Hugo Armando & Ivan Miranda (USA/PER), presumably late tomorrow or maybe on Saturday.

Isner plays his singles and his doubles QF today so Jamie's match will be Saturday.

Rich plays his doubles semi at around 7.30 GMT today.
