It seems Baker served first in second set. So after a tiebreak that should mean Odsema served first in third set right? So that would mean it's on serve. Am I right?

Oudsema won 6-2 final set. Very disappointing loss for Jamie. He just can't win matches at Challenger level at the mo

oh, thanks John! Crossed posts! gutted at Jamie's result. Don't understand what's happened since February really.
Too good at futures level but can't buy a win in a challenger.
I think it indicates the very high level of all those players contesting the 100 to 300 ranking most of whom trying to break into the 'magic 100' (although a few will have given up and be dropping back)
This is also reflected in the gap between younger Brits trying to break out of futures. Now only 8 Brits in top 500 including Tim and Lee who have quit so in reality only 6 ! (A DC team!)
his best attribute seems to be his hard work and good attitude, but so many players win free points off a serve, huge forehand, or great movement adn unless Jamie can develop something like this he will hit a ceiling at around 200 in the rankings.
With the top level coaches investing in him and praising him this year I hope they can extrapolate something that will help him rise to the next level.
